Karen Rich, 61, of Rockfall, beloved wife of Marc Gadoury, died Monday March 9 ,2026. She was born in Middletown, daughter of the late Kenneth and Mary (Griffin) Rich.

Karen devoted much of her life to her two daughters. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, volleyball, cooking, baking, sewing, and many arts and crafts. Karen also had a deep love for wildlife—she never met an animal she couldn't befriend or try to heal.

She loved working at Lyman Orchards, where she met her husband, Marc, and formed many friendships with people she considered family. Karen had a generous heart and treated her daughters' friends like her own children, often welcoming them into her home and making sure no one left hungry.

Karen is survived by her husband, Marc, and her daughters, Kayla Treat and Tabitha Spokas. She was predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Jr. ("Kenny"), her mother, Mary, and her father, Kenneth Sr

Visitation will be held on Sunday March 15th form 2 to 4 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown.
