Julie (Pawelczyk) Tuttle, 90, of Cromwell, wife of the late Gerald B. Tuttle, Sr., died Wednesday July 16, 2025.

She was born in Portland, daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Mosca) Pawelczyk. Prior to her retirement, Julie was a secretary at West Hill School in Rocky Hill. She was very active with the catholic church serving with the Carmel Light Religious Order and the Ladies Guild at St. John Church in both Middletown and Cromwell.

Julie is survived by her sons, Gerald "Jerry" Tuttle, Jr., and wife Katie of Colchester, Glenn Tuttle and wife Nancy of Middletown, daughter, Christine Venturo of Suffield, seven grandchildren, Crystal (Venturo) Quandt and husband Christian, Robert Venturo, Ryan Tuttle, Christopher Tuttle, Nicholas Tuttle, Andrew Tuttle, Christie Tuttle Lesch and husband Alex, three great grandchildren, Michela Quandt, Axel Quandt, and Dean Lesch. She was predeceased by her husband Gerald, sister, Mafalda Tillata, and brothers, David and Lucas Pawelczyk and John and James Blancato and son-in-law, Michael Venturo.

She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends. She loved to cook and all gathered at her house for Sunday dinners, she will be dearly missed.

Her Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday (July 26th) at 11 a.m. at St. John's Church, Middletown. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemterey in Portland.
