Jozef Baran, (70) of Middletown, CT passed suddenly on November 11th, 2025.  Jozef was born in Sanok, Poland on March 19, 1955, to Leon and Czeslawa Baran.

He was a loving father to his three children: Przemek Baran of Middletown, CT, Daniel Baran-Wilkie and his wife Erin of Clinton, MA, and Basia Usdan and her husband David of Harwinton, CT and his two grandchildren Sebby and Ruthie.

During his life he caught countless fish, restored countless cars, and helped countless people, friends and strangers alike.

He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and the greater community. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in his name.
