Joseph (Joe) Newcombe, Sr., 87, of Rockfall Ct., husband of the late Marilyn (Thurston) Newcombe, passed Sunday, April 12, 2026, peacefully at home. He was born November 15, 1938, in Dekalb, New York, son of the late Lawrence and Marion Newcombe.

He is survived by his son, Ken and his wife Terry of Ocala, Fl., his son, Joe Newcombe Jr. and his wife Damaris of East Hartford, daughter-in-law, Beth Newcombe of Middlefield, daughter in-law Jackie Newcombe of Wallingford, grandchildren Kevin Newcombe and his wife Rachel, Katie Cunningham, Joe Newcombe III and his wife Elsie, Chris Newcombe and his fiancé Fayth Scharf-Owens, great grandchildren Kaden, Leah, Lottie, Nora and Marlee, brother Howie and his wife Marion of Dekalb New York, sister Ilene Gordon and her husband Ivan of Ogdensburg New York, brother Chuck and his wife Barb of Edwards New York, brother Larry and his wife Pam of Whitehall New York. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. His great grandson Kaden Robinson lived with him and his nephew Terry Shepherd lived next door to him; they were very instrumental in his care. He was predeceased by three sons, Keith Newcombe, Kevin Newcombe and Kert Newcombe, two brothers, Earl and Floyd. Three sisters Ethel, Mary and Dorothy.
