John Myjak 89, of Middletown, passed away after a short illness at Middlesex Hospital, on August 21, 2024. He was surrounded by his loving family, when he peacefully left this world.  John was born in Middletown CT; He was the son of the late Stanley and Helen Myjak. He was pre-deceased by his loving wife of 67 years, Bea.  They always enjoyed their road trips together, and now will continue the journey together. He was also predeceased by his brother Richard.

John is survived by his son Jeff Myjak of Middletown and his partner Paula Lopatosky of Southington, and a daughter Judi D'Alessandro and her husband Tom of Middletown, one grandson Robert Myjak and his partner Maria Mata of San Diego CA.

John was an avid fan of the women's UConn basketball and the Boston Red Sox. He had a special gift when it came to music especially playing the organ. John enjoyed model railroading, golf and woodworking. He was always there to help his children.

John retired from Pratt & Whitney after 41 years, in 1997.
