John B. Lawson, aged 82, passed away on April 3, 2024, peacefully at his residence in Middletown. He was born in Middletown to William W. Lawson, Sr., and Doris G. (Boughton) Lawson.

Before retiring, John dedicated himself to a career as an electrical engineer in the power generation division of Northeast Utilities. He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnical Institute.

John is fondly remembered by his surviving brother, William W. Lawson, Jr., and sister-in-law Nancy of Aiken, SC, along with his nephew Michael E Lawson.
