Joan P Blodgett "Moose" a long time resident of Haddam, CT has passed away peacefully on February 1, 2025 at the age of 81.  She was predeceased by her former husband Norm C Blodgett and had one daughter, Lori Cormier.

Joan's career held several Administrative Assistant positions within the aircraft and dental industry.  She also was a buyer in the aircraft industry.

Joan always kept busy with many hobbies over the years including knitting, canning, refurbishing furniture, stonework and gardening.  She loved her home and enjoyed decorating it inside and out as long as she was able to.

Joan was also a member of the Haddam Historical Society.

Joan was grateful to many friends, neighbors and relatives for their kindness and help over the years.

Joan loved animals and animals loved her!  She was fortunate to have many over the years and they always brought her joy.  Anyone wanting to remember Joan can donate to her favorite charity, the Humane Society.
