Jeanette (Zywocienski) Dzialo, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024, at the age of 101. She is predeceased by her husband Edward J Dzialo, Sr. Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of Marion and Helen Zywocienski, and the youngest of eight children. A longtime resident of Middlefield, she and her husband raised four children: Christie Dzialo, Edward J Dzialo, Jr, Joan Wallace, and the late John M. Dzialo. She leaves six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

After St. Mary's parochial school and Middletown High School she began her career climb at JC Penney and rose to office manager within three years. She worked for several local CPA's, the Connecticut League of Nursing and her last and longest positions' at Xerox Corporation, American Education Publication and Field Publication, all producers of the famed Weekly Reader. During her thirty-year career, she was administrative assistant to the three presidents of the noted organizations.

Jeanette loved to sing and was a member of church choirs as well as a member of the Middletuners. She was a wonderful cook, and the family will miss her pies, polish specialties and the time and care she put into every meal. She was proficient in gardening and soon became well known for her beautiful dahlia floral arrangements that were regularly on the President's desk at the Long Hill Rd location. After retirement, she volunteered for over twenty-five years at Middlesex Health Outpatient Center and was a devout parishioner at St Colman Church.

The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday Dec. 14th at 12 p.m. at St. Colman Church, 170 Hubbard St., Middlefield. The burial will be held at the convenience of the family at the State Veterans' Cemetery.
