Janice Eileen (Holland) Fournier, 85, of Middletown, beloved wife of Emile M. Fournier, Jr. of 65 years, died Wednesday March 29, 2023 at her home peacefully. She was born in Hopedale, MA, daughter of the late Charles and Alma (Nourse) Holland. Janice was a nutritionist, counselor and teacher of nutrition with a love for helping people achieve better health, along with running herbusiness as a Shaklee Coordinator with her husband since 1970. She loved raising her children and spending time with her family, friends and all their animals on the farm in Marlborough for many decades. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, caring mother, loving sister, grandmother and friend to many. She truly will be missed.

In addition to her husband Emile, she is survived by her sons, Mark Fournier (Kathryn) of Colchester, Kenneth Fournier (Sola) of CA; daughters, Pamela Gudrian (Michael) of Middletown, and AnnMarie Sargent of East Hampton; sister, Irene Kelliher of Largo, FL; along with nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Emile M. Fournier, III, brothers, Charles and Robert Holland, sisters, Barbara Horan and Joan Speirs Crawford.

The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday April 3, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 10 Elm Street, Middletown. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in East Hartford. There are no calling hours. To share memories or express condolences online please visit www.biegafuneralhome.com.
