James E. Kolman, Sr., 59, of Moodus, passed peacefully on Friday, December 6, 2024.  He was born the son of the late John and Nora (Rembis) Kolman and raised on the family farm in Middlefield, CT.

Jimmy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, his camp in Vermont and nature most of all.  His favorite times were spent hunting, fishing, and trapping.

He leaves his children, James E. Kolman Jr. (Krystina) and Crystal Slade (Reid), as well as his grandchildren; Redding, Paisley, Layne and Sadie.  He also leaves a brother, John Kolman Jr. (Deborah), and sisters Joyce Gowen and Noreen McQuade as well as his many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a sister, Beverly Kolman.

The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 10th at 11a.m. at St. Colman Church 170 Hubbard St., Middlefield.
