James E. Henderson, 85, of Middletown, beloved husband of Judith "Judi" (Dunlop) Henderson, passed away on Sunday May 18, 2025. He was born in Houlton, ME, son of the late Donald and Geraldine (Cole) Henderson. James was the owner of Henderson Autobody in Middletown and was a master painter and pin-stripper.  He was a Gold Badge recipient from the South Fire District. He was a member of the Middletown ELKS, and the Polish Falcons.  He was active in off road racing and modified tractor pulls, and made it a family event, with his wife and both his children competing.

James is survived by his wife Judi, daughter Beth Henderson of Middletown, grandchildren Marissa and Michael Henderson. He was predeceased by his son James Scott Henderson.
