Jacquelyn (O'Shea) Durinick, 90, formerly of Cromwell and Higganum, beloved wife of the late Raymond Durinick, died Tuesday October 11, 2022 at Waters Edge Health Care.

She was born in Bronx, NY, daughter of the late John "Jack" and Helen (Berckman) O'Shea. She graduated from Middletown High School, attended Barbizon Modeling School and later worked at the cosmetic department at Bunce's.

Jacquelyn is survived by her sons, Lawrence Durinick of Charlotte, NC, Michael Durinick and his wife Daria of Middletown; four grandchildren, Jenna, Tanya, Brian and Rachael; two great grandchildren, Lily Durinick and Edward Biafore.  She was predeceased by her son, James Durinick.

Her Funeral Liturgy will be held Wednesday (Oct. 26 ^th ) at 11 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi, Church, Middletown. Burial will be in the State Veterans' Cemetery, Middletown. Friends and relatives may call on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown.
