Helen "Honey" (Kuchyt) Marica, 90, of Haddam, wife of Rudolph "Rudy" Marica, died Wednesday October 12, 2022 at Middlesex Hospital.

She was born in Higganum, the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Traskos) Kuchyt. Helen worked at Pratt & Whitney and later retired as a secretary for at Haddam Elementary School after 32 years with Regional School District 17.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Jeffery Marica and his wife Lauren of Jacksonville, NC, and Joseph Marica of Higganum; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Rose Driscoll, Mary Jean Krajewski, and Patricia Budney; also, several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her daughter, Lori Daniels; sister, Betty Schroeder; brothers, Robert Kuchyt, Sr., and Martin Kuchyt.
