Helen (Swol) Malicki, 86, of Hamden formerly of Wallingford, died Wednesday November 6, 2024 at St. Raphael Hospital, New Haven. She was born in Portland on November 6, 1938, the daughter of the late John P. Swol, Sr., and Zaza (Wilcox) Swol.

Prior to her retirement, Helen was as administrative assistant in the construction field. Helen is survived by her daughters, Deborah Malicki of Hamden, and Susan Turner and her husband Robert of Meriden; sisters, Barbara Cappello, and Sandra Glasser; also several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brothers, John Swol, Jr. and Paul J. Swol; and a sister, Janet Hirsch.

Funeral services are private and burial in Calvary Cemetery, Middletown, will be at the convenience of her family.
