Guna (Mezveveris) Gregors, 95, of Wethersfield died peacefully at her home on October 18, 2022.

She was born on June 18, 1927 in Riga, Latvia, daughter of the late Voldemars and Alise (Zichmanis) Mezvevers.

She came to the United States under an individual American sponsorship and graduated from Wagner College, class of 1955. She married Janis (John) Gregors in 1958. Prior to her retirement, Guna was a microbiologist with the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health.

In addition to her parents and husband Janis of 55 years, she was predeceased by their only son, Robert Valdis Gregors in 2003.

She is leaves behind her close friends, John Bradley of Rockfall Ct and the Krumins family of Latvia as well as many others that have touched her life.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday November 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Transfiguration Romanian Church, 2 Winter Street, Manchester, CT. Her final resting place will be in Raiskums, Latvia.
