Gerald J. Maloney, 83, of Middletown, husband of Rhonda (Mastromarino) Maloney, died Thursday September 26, 2024, at Middlesex Hospital.

He was born in Middletown, the son of the late James E. and Clara May (Whitley) Maloney.  A veteran of the Vietnam War, Jerry served with the US Army.  He was a CNA working at various nursing homes in the state.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Michael Maloney of FL; two stepsons, Jason and Donald Thomas; as well as many extended family and friends. He was predeceased by two sisters, Beverly Lewis and Virginia Walmsley; and a brother, James E. Maloney.

Graveside services, with military honors, will be held on Wednesday (Oct. 2nd) at 10 a.m. at the State Veterans' Cemetery, Middletown.  There are no calling hours. To share memories or express condolences online please visit www.biegafuneralhome.com.
