Gary W.  Adams, 77, of Middletown, husband of Irene (Belanger) Adams, passed away on Thursday March 14, 2024, at Middlesex Hospital.

He was born in Caribou, ME, son of the late Donald and Myrtle (Haines) Adams. Gary was a veteran serving with the US Navy and Army, retired with 32 years of service. Prior to retirement, he worked security at Aetna for 30 years.  He was in a bowling league, and he loved to go fishing.

Gary is survived by his wife, Irene (Belanger) Adams, daughters, Carrie Cavanaugh of Middletown, Renee Waddell, a brother Fred Adams, his wife sister-in-law Mary Belanger Adams, grandchildren Ashley Cavanaugh LaVallee, her husband Ben, Tristan Cavanaugh, Brandon and Caleb Waddell and 2 great grandchildren, Addison and Weston Lavallee whom he loved and adored. He has several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 19th from 5 to 6:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 6:30 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown.
