Obituary

Gail Holt Milhomme, 75, of Jensen Beach, Florida, beloved wife of the late Paul Milhomme, unexpectedly entered into internal rest on August 29, 2026 surrounded by her family.

She was born in Middletown, Connecticut in 1951 to the late Albert and Lillian (Klemba) Holt. She attended Middletown Schools and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1969. She then went on to raise her three children in Haddam. She worked at Whelen Engineering Company in Chester for many years and made lifelong friends. She then relocated to Florida where she enjoyed everyday of sunshine. She worked at Publix until retiring to live the life of leisure with her precious cats and eventually her neighbors and besties (you know who you are) at Pinelake Village.

Gail is survived by her daughters, Audrey Michaud and her husband Darren of Middlefield CT; Michelle Gamache and her husband, Chris of Haddam CT; a son, Michael Nelson of Middletown CT; her grandchildren, Allison Michaud, Ryan Michaud, Madison Gamache and Kevin Gamache. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Debra Cote and her husband Tim; Larry Milhomme and their families; brothers, Glenn Holt of Middletown CT and Gary Holt of Florida; special cousins, Ann and Colen Brooks of Maine and Joe and Gail Klember of Florida. She will be greatly missed by her fur babies, Lolly and Daisy. She also leaves behind extended family and many friends who will forever cherish her memory. She was predeceased by her sister, Gloria Sarafin.

Gail will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but we know heaven has gained an angel.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday September 27,2026 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. with a funeral service following at 2:30 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver Street, Middletown.
