Francis A. Shea,79, of Moodus, beloved husband of June (King) Shea, passed away on Thursday January 30, 2025 at his home. He was born in Hartford, and resided in Moodus, son of the late James and Sophia (Bury) Shea.

Francis is survived by his wife June, sons, Richard Shea and his fiancé Sarah Drozd and Robert Shea of Moodus, grandchildren, Matt Shea of Middletown and Katie Shea of Florida,  He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Ann Standish

He spent most of his life working as a carpenter, but also worked for the CT DOT and helped out with the family butcher shop, Burys On The Farm. After his retirement he got most of his joy working alongside his sons, riding around on a Scag mower in the family landscaping company.

Friends may call at Biega funeral Home 3 Silver Street Middletown on Thursday, February 6th from 5 to 7 PM. Burial will be held Saturday, February 8th at 10:30 AM at Miner Cemetery, in Middletown.
