Francis Xavier "Butch" Wasicki, Jr., 86 of Middletown, formerly of Higganum, husband of the late Jeanette Ann (Devereux) Wasicki, died Monday, April 3 ^rd , 2023 at Middlesex Hospital.

Butch was born in Middletown, son of the late Francis Xavier Wasicki, Sr. and Mary (Laczak) Wasicki.  Prior to his retirement Butch was employed with the State of Connecticut as a painter. He was also a Veteran of the US Army.

He enjoyed Kayaking, fishing and nature walks. He is survived and will be missed by friends and family.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home 3 Silver Street, Middletown.  Friends may call prior to the service from 10 to 10:30 a.m.  Burial with military honors will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown.
