Frances Outland, a beloved mother and friend to many, passed away on September 24, 2025. She was born on November 17, 1941, in Gatesville, North Carolina, to Hattie Outland and Joe Outland.

Frances attended and graduated from high school in Gatesville. She was the proud mother of five children: Louis Teko Outland Sr., Dennis Outland, Maria Bullock, Kenneth Parker, and Craig Outland Sr.

Frances worked as a Lead Inspector at Silgan Plastics for 35 years, where she was respected for her dedication, excellence, and hard work. She also worked as a home health aide beginning in 1965, dedicating herself to caring for families in their homes with compassion, love, and respect. Frances always treated those she cared for as if they were her own family.

A woman of strong faith, Frances was a devoted member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, where she faithfully attended since 1956. She was a warm soul who greeted everyone she met with sincerity and love. Known for speaking her mind, she left a lasting impression on all who knew her. People felt her warmth, strength, and genuine spirit each time they spoke with her.

On September 24, 2025, God whispered that it was time for her to begin her new journey. With peace in knowing that her crown was securely placed upon her head, the remaining members of her family said goodbye with tears of sorrow for missing her but also joy in their hearts knowing that her salvation was sure.

Frances will be remembered as a strong woman of faith, a devoted mother, and a compassionate caregiver. Her legacy of love and service will continue to inspire her children and all who were blessed to know her.
