Florence Jaskot, 99, of Middletown, CT, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025, at Middlesex Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born on October 30, 1925, in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Walter Bastura and Nellie Zawilenski Bastura.

Florence was a devoted wife to her late husband, Charles J. Jaskot. She worked as a solderer at Rapid Print & Topps. Florence was a lifelong Communicant of St. Mary of Czestochowa Church.

She is survived by her son, Peter Jaskot, and his partner, Joanne Nolan, of New Jersey, as well as her daughter, Elizabeth Heath, and her husband, Roger, of Stratford. She also leaves behind her sister, Nellie Delesdernier, of Florida. She was a loving grandmother to five grandchildren and their families: Colleen, Christopher (Genna), Amanda, Thomas (Kelly), and Heather (William). She was affectionately known as "Baci" to her eleven great-grandchildren: Jacob, Lucas, Isaac, Cameron, Wilson, Eva, Cayson, Cecilia, Tullah, Sloane, and Carter. Florence was predeceased by five brothers: Steve, Fred, Stanley, Frank, and Henry Bastura, along with four sisters: Frances Kowal, Steffie Forenc, Mary Witkowski, and Eleanor Golet.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver Street, Middletown, CT. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church in Middletown from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM. Interment will take place at the Calvary Cemetery.

Florence's kindness, strength, and devotion to her family will be cherished forever.
