With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Finnian Yantosh Gagnon, due to injuries sustained from a fire in his home. He was a bright and beautiful soul who brought boundless joy to everyone around him. At just six years old, Finnian had a sweet and silly nature, with a smile that could light up any room and a heart full of love. His independent spirit shone through in everything he did, and his intelligence was beyond his years.

Finnian loved spending time with his cousins Lily and Lucas and could often be found gaming with his brothers Mason and Trenton. He was a natural competitor, excelling at whiffle ball, soccer, riding bikes, and drifting around on his go-kart. Finnian was unbeatable in Connect 4, and he took great pride in counting the money he carefully kept in his safe.

Some of his most cherished moments were getting soft-serve ice cream with his Pop, going bowling, and challenging everyone with his quick math skills. Whether it was a Nerf gun battle or helping out with yard work like weed-whacking and leaf-blowing, Finnian made everything more fun with his lively spirit.

Finnian will forever be remembered for his infectious laughter, his incredible energy, and the joy he brought into the lives of his family and friends. Though his time with us was far too short, the love and light he shared will live on in our hearts forever.

Finnian is survived by his loving mother, Becca (Yantosh) Gagnon and Jay Rode and his children Kaden, Camryn, and Brylee, brothers Trenton and Mason, his grandparents Tom "Pop" and Kathy "G" Yantosh, Cory "Buff" and Jeff "Pal" Malmberg, uncle Jon "Uncle Gimpy" and aunt Kristen "Crispy" Yantosh, aunt Kimberly Wilson (William), uncle John Gagnon (Violet), uncle Matt Gilman, aunt Heather Smith, cousins, Trevor and Connor Gagnon and Luke and Lily Yantosh. He was predeceased by his father Timothy Gagnon and grandfather John Gagnon.

Funeral services will be held on Friday (Sept. 13th) at 11 a.m. at St. Colman Church, 170 Hubbard St., Middlefield, CT. Burial will be at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours.
