Everett Howard Baird, 61, of East Haddam, passed away on Tuesday October 3, 2023 at Middlesex Hospital.  He was born in Middletown, son of Yolanda (Moroni) Baird of Middletown and the late Terry H. Baird.  He was employed as a machinist with Cyient Manufacturing. Everett was laid back and enjoyed the simple pleasures in life.  He enjoyed collecting old radios, records, 45s and antiques TVs. He also enjoyed buying and fixing old cars, tag sales and fishing and swimming at Devil's Hopyard. Everett's favorite thing was spending time with his family and most recently tormenting his sisters with TikToks of political satire.

Everett is survived by his mother, Yolanda; son, Ryan Baird of Middletown; daughter, Samantha Landon of Colchester; sisters, Darlene Baird of Colchester and Amy Len and her husband Tony of Colchester; three grandchildren, Jameson, Rex and Mack; and his uncle, Michael Baird of East Haddam.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday October 8th from 4 to 6 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown.
