Errol Peter Johnson, 94, of Dunnellon Fl., passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at his summer home in East Haddam, CT. Peter was born in Sparta, WI, the son of the late George and Frances (Kreiling) Johnson. Peter graduated from Michigan State University. He soon landed his job with Sears Roebuck & Co., where he loved his career working in employee relations. Nothing made him happier than being around people and conversing with them.

Peter is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Tyskewic) Carey-Johnson, of East Haddam, CT. His daughters, Linda Ambroz and Kathleen Munson of Pooler, GA.  and his son Peter of Williston, Fl. His wife Marilyn's family, who he loved very much, Allen Carey (Karin), Brian Carey (Jane), and David (Sheri). His grandchildren are Charles  Munson, Cayce Munson, Cary Munson, Timothy Munson, and Taylor Munson. His great grandchildren Luciano, Carter, and Cameron Munson and many nieces and nephews. Peter was predeceased by his beautiful first wife, Jane (DesPlanque), and sister, Jacqueline Lidge.

He was a hardworking, dedicated father and grandfather. Peter spent his last years with his second wife, Marilyn, living their life to the fullest. The love they shared was a beautiful sight to see. A day never passed without them expressing their love and affection for each other. We want to express our love and thanks to Marilyn and her family for embracing our Father. He loved you all very much.
