Ernest J. "EJ" Marcoux, III, of Manchester, died unexpectedly Tuesday February 7, 2023 at his home.  He was born in Manchester, son of Heidi (Peetz) Marcoux and the late Ernest J. Marcoux, Jr.

EJ is survived by his mother, Heidi of Old Saybrook, sister, Wendy Marcoux of South Windsor, many aunts, uncles, nephew, cousins and friends.

EJ was known by his fellow co-workers as very dedicated being a HVAC Technician with Woodcock Heating and Refrigeration in S. Windsor for 17 years. He took pride in being able to resolve complicated problems.

Being raised on 'the farm', he had a natural love and appreciation for nature & the planet. He had a creative mind, drawing talent & enjoyed painting action figures & gaming. Anyone who knew him, loved his smile & genuine demeanor. He didn't hesitate to stop to help pull girls out of a crashed, burning car, then left the scene for the other person to claim hero. That WAS EJ…  such a sweet, great heart and soul Heaven has gotten… God protect your Soul.
