Obituary

Emily Warenda Wysocki, 100, of Middletown, CT, died at the Village of South Farms on August 21, 2025. She was born November 8th, 1924, in Middletown in Middlesex County CT to Stephania and Louis Warenda.

Emily was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Henry (Hank) Joseph Wysocki; her sisters Anna Warenda, Mary Warenda Brew, Genevieve Warenda Myjak and Sophia Warenda Rivers: her brothers Zygmunt (Zig), Henry, Edward and Raymond.

Emily was a lifelong resident of Middletown for over 100 years! She worked for GM for many years in Bristol and Meriden and for "fun" she was an active golfer and snow skier.

Lots of nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews caringly called her their "Aunt Emily". They loved her so much just as she loved them so much! One of Aunt Emily's youngest nieces was named for her in 2019. Her parents are Louise and Joe Warenda of Raleigh, NC. This 6-year-old girl is named Emily Grace Warenda.

The family would like to express their appreciation to all of the caregivers for the loving care they have given Emily for the past 7 years.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Emily Wysocki to St Mary's Catholic Church, 79 South Main Street, Middletown, CT 06457.     Online condolences may be left at https://www.biegafuneralhome.com/obits
