Ellen Precourt, 82, of Cromwell, beloved wife of the late Frank Precourt, died Wednesday December 6, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in NY, NY, daughter of the late Daniel Francis Horan and Maragaret (Fox) Horan.

Ellen is survived by her sons, Patrick Precourt, his wife, Tracey, Bart Precourt and his wife Kelli, Chad Precourt, (predeceased), his wife, Ashley Precourt and her loving grandchildren, Patrick, Samantha, Danielle, Katie and Ella, as well as her brother Patrick (Paula), Dan Horan (predeceased) sisters Jude Evans and Julia Tuttle, Margret Noto (predeceased) and her nieces and nephews.

Ellen and her husband Frank worked side by side for many years in their company, Precourt Home Inspections. She was a dedicated parishioner of St Francies of Assisi in Middletown where she spent several years as a Eucharistic Minister.

Ellen was a loving wife, a proud mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with friends and family, watching the New York Yankees, playing a good game of cards and of course heading out with her loyal dog, Harry. Her stories, witty comebacks and larger than life personality will be greatly missed.
