Elizabeth "Betty" Ann (Moskey) Tollefson, 85, of Portland, wife of the late LeRoy G. Tollefson, (US Navy), died Thursday, November 13, 2025, at her home with her family at her side. Betty was born in Middletown, daughter of the late, Joseph and Mary (Kuzaro) Moskey.

Betty was a fastidious homemaker, dog lover and bird watcher. She was a communicant of the Church of St. Mary in Portland, and a member of the Ladies Guild. Prior to her retirement, Betty worked for Connecticut Mutal Life Insurance in Hartford and Stop and Shop in Cromwell.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Friedland and husband Julian Friedland, PhD of Ivoryton, two grandchildren, Parker and Hope Gingrave, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Regina Kosiba and Genevieve Zywocinski and four brothers, Joseph, Edward, Theodore, and Francis Moskey.

A funeral Liturgy will be held Friday, November 21, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Mary, 45 Freestone Ave. Portland, CT 06480.
