Eileen Mary Wisneski, 75, formerly of Middletown, passed away on Friday September 22, 2023. She was born in Middletown on August 23, 1948, the youngest child of the late Edward J. and Margaret Ellen (Murphy) Wisneski.  Eileen was a graduate of St. John School, Middletown High School, and Marquette University.  She was a social worker with the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program in Middletown.

Eileen was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and Notre Dame Football.  A talented athlete Eileen played wiffle ball and baseball with her older brothers and their neighborhood friends.  She took good care of her father in his later years.  Eileen was a very friendly, pleasant, intelligent, and spiritual person.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Jean W. and Louis J. Damiata.  She is survived by her brothers and sister-in-law, Rev. Edward J. "Ned" Wisneski, and J. Jerrold and Carmen Gloria Wisneski; her nieces and nephews, Maura D. and Dan Silbo, Siobhan W. and Shawn McLaughlin, Eamonn and Kori Wisneski, and Roisin W. and Nick Ford; her grand nieces and nephews, Maggie and Connor Silbo, Aibhlinn and Aislinn McLaughlin, Jack and Zoe Wisneski, and Andy and Mia Ford; and her cousins.

Her Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday, October 7th at 11 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, 310 Westfield St., Middletown.  Burial will be held at St. John Cemetery, Middletown.  Family and friends may call prior to the Funeral Liturgy on Saturday, October 7th from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at St. Pius X  Church.  To share memories or express condolences online, please visit www.biegafuneralhome.com .
