Edward "Whitey" Waz, 84 of Middletown, passes peacefully on December 18, 2022 at Middlesex Hospital.

He was born in Middletown, the daughter of the late Anthony and Helen (Laz) Waz.  Prior to his retirement Ed was employed at New Departure in Bristol.

Ed is survived by a son, Anthony Waz of New Britain.  He was predeceased by four brothers, Frank, John, Joseph and Stanley Waz; three sisters, Bernice Conniff, Ceil Faraci, and Mary Waz.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held Friday December 30 ^th at 11 a.m. at Saint Mary of Czestochowa Church, Hubbard Street Middletown.  Friends may call at Biega Funeral Home 3 Silver Street, Middletown, prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
