Dorothy (Stolba) Vogel, 94, of Middletown, wife of the late Joseph W. Vogel, Sr., died Friday September 26, 2025 at her home surrounded by family. She was born in New Britain, daughter of the late Oldrich and Emilia (Pach) Stolba. In her early life, Dorothy could be found working at Stolba's Crystal Lake Point.  She was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church as well as a key member of Wesleyan Potters.

Dorohty is survived by her son, Joseph W. Vogel, Jr. of Portland, daughters, Lori Vogel-Brown of Middlefield, Suzanne Mazzotta of Haddam, Kerry Hart of Middletown, grandchildren,  Corinne Mazzotta Moehler, Rachel Piper, Jessica Hart, and Mitchell Hart, great grandchildren, Sabella Moehler and Liliana Piper, and her sister Elsie Kiley of Middletown. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, sister, Evelyn "Evie" Cunningham and brother, Walter Stolba.

The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Thursday (Oct. 2nd) at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 10 Elm St. Middletown. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
