Dorothy (Dottie) Cobb Marino, 99, of Middletown, wife of the late Michael S. Marino, died Tuesday March 21, 2023.

She was born in Chicago, IL, daughter of Glen (who passed when she was 14) and Agnes (Gadtke) Cobb. Dottie was a proud a veteran of World War II, serving as a nurse with the US Navy. She worked at Master Supply in Middletown. Dottie loved family, friends, the beach and sports

Dottie is survived by her son, Jim Marino and his wife Karen of Austin, TX; daughters, Nancy Martin of Middletown, Catherine Brunetti and her husband Steve of Bozrah; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her cousins, who were like sisters to her, Arlene Alqhuist, Pat Smith and Carol Urbach, and by her brother, Clayton Cobb.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown. Family and friends may gather at 10 am. A short service and burial, with military honors, will follow at the State Veterans' Cemetery. Dottie donated to many, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
