Dominic Scalise, 88, of Durham, beloved husband of Irmgard (Konzog) Scalise, passed away on Friday September 27, 2024 at Wadsworth Glen Health Care. He was born in New Haven, son of the late Rosario and Concetta (Tisca) Scalise. Dom was a veteran serving with the US Air Force for 24 years. He later was a Quality Control Engineer with local manufacturing companies.

Dominic is survived by his wife Irmgard, daughter Ingrid Scalise of Middletown, sister, MaryAnne Rapuano; grandchildren, Stephanie Civetelli, Christina Civetelli Joseph; and a great grandchild Sage Joseph. He was predeceased by his brothers, Vincenzo, Rinaldo and John.
