Deborah (Bears) Gurecki, 64, of Meriden, wife of the late Timothy D. Gurecki, passed away on Sunday May 18, 2025. She was born in Page, AZ, daughter of Gene and Annabelle (Wentz) Bears. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Lori Bears.

Deborah is survived by her son Gary Gurecki of Meriden and his partner, Victoria Davis, her son Matthew Gurecki of Hartford and her brother, Gene Bears.

Deborah was assistant manager at MARC Community Resources. She had a warm smile and a drive to make all of those around her feel special. Her gentle care and sincere kindness touched her family, friends and those she worked with beyond words. She welcomed all that entered her life and made them feel genuinely loved. Deborah is held in the highest regard by all who knew her.
