David Scott Johnson III passed away in the late evening hours of February 24, 2024 at the age of 82.  A life long resident of Connecticut, David was raised in Branford and later on moved to Killingworth.  He attended Branford High School and he graduated in 1960.  A few years later he attended the University of New Haven.  He graduated in 1968 with a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Computers.

David worked for Sikorsky Aircraft for 31 years and after he retired he enjoyed reading books and working on motor boats.  He leaves behind his wife Joan of Killingworth, his daughter Lara and Jerry Ouellette of Guilford, his daughter-in-law Barbara and two grandchildren Christopher and Rena of Middletown.  He is predeceased by his parents David and Edith Johnson and his son David Scott Johnson IV.
