Darlene J Lemieux born on February 6, 1947, daughter of the late Daniel and Barbara "Bobbi" Distefano, was called home on March 11, 2025, surrounded by her closest loved ones and her kitty, Ava. Darlene is reunited with her late husband, Leo G. Lemieux, with whom she shared 53 happily married years. Together they enjoyed traveling, riding motorcycles, and quality time with family.

Darlene is survived by her two sons Kenneth Lemieux of Mystic, CT and Thomas Lemieux of Blackshear, GA, both blessing her with beautiful grandchildren.

Darlene leaves behind her best friend and sister Barbara Distefano, her husband Mitchell. Brothers, Mike Distefano, wife Nancy, Ronnie Distefano, wife Diane. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and loved ones. Darlene is predeceased by her brother William Distefano.

Some of Darlene's happiest memories include her many humorous family vacations, especially her girls' trips with her sister and niece. She loved her adventures with her granddaughter Erikka, and being kept on her toes by her youngest great, great niece and nephews. She loved to show off her yard work in the springtime, and if she wasn't on a sandbar somewhere, she was at the campground, laughing with her family.

Darlene Jewel Lemieux had a radiant personality that put any soul at ease by being in her presence. She was dedicated to making sure others were always taken care of, especially animals in need. Her light and laughter will be greatly missed, but it will be remembered in the sound of birds chirping, the blooming of spring flowers, and the warmth of a sunny beach day.
