Dana Philip Morse, born to Anne Boynton Morse and the late Philip J. Morse on August 23rd, 1973, passed away unexpectedly on April 10th, 2025, as a result of complications from a recent accident.

Dana was born in Middletown, raised in Higganum, and attended Haddam-Killingworth High School. In his youth, he enjoyed playing football and riding BMX. He followed in his father's footsteps and after an apprenticeship became a journeyman linesman for IBEW Local 42.

Dana married his wife, Michelle (Shelli) Brindle, together they raised their family of four daughters, Gabrielle Gordon, Laurel Erin Brindle, Kayla Michelle Morse, Brandilyn Mae Morse, along with their beloved dog Charlie, in East Haddam, CT.

He found great joy in his first granddaughter Lila, traveling, camping, bonfires, playing the drums, and live music. Quality time with his family was cherished, especially at "the cottage" on Great Diamond Island in Maine, where they would cook together, boiling freshly caught lobsters, grilling and making sauce. He also had a unique fondness for eating pepperoncini straight from the jar. He loved fishing, climbing trees, and watching thunderstorms from the porch with his girls. His adventurous spirit extended to his work, as he traveled or "tramped", across the country, building and restoring power lines nationwide, embracing all types of weather, with the most extreme conditions being his favorite.

A thrill-seeking adventurer, good-natured with an endearing smile and sense of humor, Dana is survived by his mother, wife, four daughters, granddaughter, a son-in-law, his brother, David Morse, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and family may pay respect on Friday, April 25th, 2025, from 5-7 PM at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown, CT. A mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Silver St., at 10 AM, Saturday, April 26th, followed by a burial at St. Sebastian Cemetery, Middlefield.
