Constance T. (Carbonero) Kaika, 88, of Durham, wife of the late, Richard J. Kaika, Sr., died Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Middlesex Hospital.

Connie was born in, Hartford, daughter of the late, Anthony and Theresa (D'Arola) Carbonero.

Connie is survived by a daughter, Susan Badrick & husband Joe of Moodus, son, Richard Kaika Jr. & wife Rae of North Haven, son, Thomas Kaika & wife Karen of North Carolina, daughter, Sharon Kaika of Durham, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, four sisters, Dolores Latina, of Rocky Hill, Marie Tyrseck of East Haddam, Barbara Ollari, and Carol Messer, both of Middletown. She was predeceased by a brother, Ralph Carbonero, and three sisters, Virginia Ollari, Theresa Catania, and Patricia Nordgren

A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday, April 15th at 10 a.m. at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 272 Main St., Durham, CT followed by burial at Pine Grove Cemetery, 857 S. Main St. Middletown, CT. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital P.O.
