Clifford M. Skinner, Jr., 74, of Cromwell, formerly of Higganum, died Saturday September 28, 2024 at Autumn Lake Health Care. He is the middle child of the late Clifford and Dorothy (Butler) Skinner, Sr., and he was predeceased by his younger brother, Donald Skinner and older sister, Audrey Roberts.

Clifford is survived by his nephews Frederick (Rick) Johnson, Jr, Steven Johnson, and niece Karen Holcomb.

In his working years, he was the proud owner of Skinner Construction, and worked extremely hard in his chosen profession, often until late into the night. He loved going out to dinner with the family and meeting new people (and dogs). He made an impression wherever he went, and many people have very fond memories of him.

A small, private graveside service will be held, with a Celebration of Life to happen at a future date to be determined.
