Claude Hendrickson, 84, of Middletown, passed away quietly on June 13, 2023, at Middlesex Hospital. He was born in NY, son of the late Wilber and Eva (Langlois) Hendrickson. Claude was a veteran of the US Navy, and upon discharge he went to work as a truck driver for the Teamsters. He served with the Haddam Volunteer Fire Department for a number of years, ultimately achieving the rank of Chief. Claude was also an active member of the Elks, and reached the position of Exalted Ruler, which he held for several years.

Claude is survived by his sons, Scott of Manchester, Chris of Hamden, Brian of Maui, daughter Claudia and grandchildren Derrick, Cody, Nickolas, and Dianta.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 21st, from 5-7 at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown.  Burial will be Thursday June 22nd at 12 p.m. at the State Veterans' Cemetery. To share memories or express condolences online please visit www.biegafuneralhome.com.
