Clarence Anderson, 83, of Middletown, beloved husband of Janie (Macon) Anderson, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 12, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Jamacia, son of the late Manley and Alberta (Johnson) Anderson, and one of eleven children.  Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a mason with Standard Builders.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Janie; brother, Eustis Anderson, Rupel Anderson; sister, Hilda Anderson-Delebante; along with stepsons, stepdaughters, and a host of extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Friday January 20, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown.  Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middletown.  Friends may call on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home prior to the service. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center. Due to a high COVID-19 transmission rate, the family request that those attending wear masks.
