Charles P. Wickham, Sr. of Middletown, Connecticut died on Saturday August 5, 2023. He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Ellen M. (Quinn) Wickham, their five children: Debbie (Tiya) A. Ok, Mary Sue Guite, Karen P. Wickham, Russell E. Wickham and Charley P. Wickham, Jr., five grandchildren Soph, Charles (Trey), Garrett, Ian and Tresor. Loving nieces and nephews (Barbara, Jack, Paul, Grace, Peter and Margaret) and his sister-in-law Roberta (Quinn) Vaccaro.

He was the son of his parents Paul and Mary Wickham and the brother of late John and Paul Wickham. Mr. Wickham was born in Newark, New Jersey on April 17, 1937, graduated from Seton Hall University and served in the United States Air Force from 1958-1962. He began his business career at the Prudential Insurance Company and serve in senior office positions at AMR International, Xerox (The Weekly Reader Company) and the Walt Disney Company. During his service in the Air Force, he traveled extensively in South East Asia and during his business career oversaw business operations in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Asia.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Pius the X Church in Middletown on Saturday, August 19. Calling hours at St. Pius the X Church at 10 a.m. - 11 a.m., mass will start at 11:00 a.m. Interment at the Veterans Cemetery in Middletown will be at the convenience of the family.
