Charles "Chuck" Davis Barbour, 73, of Durham, beloved husband of Patrica (Williams) Barbour, died Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at his home.

Chuck was born in New Haven, son of the late, Richard Lewis and Grace Viola (Aldrich) Barbour.  Prior to his retirement, Chuck was employed as a machinist.  He was a proud U.S. Army veteran serving his country as a Specialist with distinction, honor, and integrity.

Besides his wife, Patty, Chuck is survived by brothers, Richard (Shawn) of VT, Russell (Julee) of GA, Bruce of Guilford, Brian of Middletown, Pierre (Kate) of Unionville, Kenneth of New Haven, Malcolm (Melissa) of Meriden.  He was predeceased by a brother, Keith and a sister Linda Washington.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 16, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home 3 Silver Street, Middletown.  Friends may gather prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow the State Veterans' Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown.  Memorial Contributions may be sent to CT Department of Veterans' Affairs https://portal.ct.gov/dva/donations/veterans-donation .
