Carrie Ann Daniels, 56, of Middletown, passed on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Waters Edge Health Care, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Carrie was born in Middletown, the daughter of William A. Daniels, Jr. (Anita) and Carol (Foss) Daniels. Carrie had compassion for helping others and did so in her career as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant.

Carrie is survived by her son, Chris Phillips, Jr. “CJ” of Vernon; her father, William A. Daniels, Jr. and his wife Anita of Higganum, her mother, Carol (Foss) Daniels of Middletown; two brothers, William A. Daniels, III of New Britain, Joseph D. Daniels and his wife Gretchyn of Middletown, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 7 pm at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver Street, Middletown. Friends may gather prior to the service from 5 to 7 pm.
