Carolyn T. Parkos, 74, of East Haddam, passed away on Monday September 29, 2025, at her home. She was born in Middletown, daughter of the late Joseph J. Parkos Sr., and Claire (Saucier) Parkos, Carolyn was a communicant of St. Bridget of Kildare Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Ladies Guild.

Carolyn is survived by her brother, Arthur Parkos and his wife Mari Paz, of Southbury as well as her nieces, Rebecca Parkos, Alexia Parkos, and Karina Parkos, her nephew, Joseph Parkos and his wife Sue Gallo, grandnephew Brock Gallo-Parkos, and her sister-in-law Sharon Parkos.  She was predeceased by her parents and brother Joseph J. Parkos, Jr.

Carolyn was known by everyone as a sweet and caring person, and family held a special place deep in her heart.  She had a joy in everyday life, a deep and abiding faith, a love of the ocean, and she greatly treasured her memories of her travels.  She touched the hearts of those she met, and she will be sorely missed by all.

The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday October 11th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bridget of Kildare Church. Burial will follow at St. Bridget Cemetery. Family and friends may gather prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Bridget.of Kildare Church.
