Carol (Chalker) Organek, 77, of Middletown, beloved wife of the late Ronald Organek, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. She was born in Middletown, daughter of the late Frederick and Daisy (Chapman) Chalker, Sr.  Carol had been employed with Roy Rogers and later Arby's.

Carol is survived by her son, Scott Organek and his wife Lindsay of Avon; daughter, Karen Organek of Middletown; granddaughter, Madison; and a sister, Janice Moorhead of PA. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald, and brother, Frederick Chalker, Jr.

Carol enjoyed spending time with family and friends, making crafts for those that she loved, listening to Barry Manilow, and watching the New York Giants.

Calling hours will be on Friday, September 22nd from 4 to 6 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown. Burial at the State Veterans' Cemetery will be on Monday, September 25th at 9 a.m.  Those who wish may send memorial contributions to Orphan Kitten Club.
