Bror C. Granat, 84, of Higganum, husband of Beverly (Krebser) Granat, died Friday June 16, 2023 at his home.

He was born in Middletown, the son of the late Charles O. and Frances (Richards) Granat.  Bror served with the US Army and retired as a truck driver for the Town of Haddam. He was also a member of the American Legion.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, David Granat of Portland; daughter, Selena Timbro of Nims, Florida; sisters, Sonja Sousa of Higganum, Anita Bengtson of Cromwell, and Edna Holloway of Massachusetts; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Wanda Waters.

A Memorial Services will be held on Friday June 23rd at 11 a.m. at Higganum United Methodist Church, Higganum.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
