Blanche (Bernier) Guimond, 87, formerly of Middletown and Berlin, wife of the late Armand Guimond, died Saturday November 2, 2024 at Middlesex Hospital.

She was born in Salem, MA, the daughter of the late Lionel and Gertrude (Sauvé) Bernier.  Prior to her retirement, Blanche was a laundress with the former Middlesex Health Care Nursing Home.

She is survived by her children, Mark Guimond and his wife Doreen of Uncasville, Brian Guimond and his wife Judy of Norwich, and Gail Shefcyk and her husband Dean of Killingworth; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her siblings, Anita, Ernest "Joe", Lillian, Lucienne "Lucy", and Normand.

Funeral services will be held on Monday (Nov. 11th) at 6:30 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown.  Burial will be at the convenience of her family in the State Veterans' Cemetery, Middletown.  Friends may call at Biega Funeral Home on Monday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. prior to the services.
