Bernadette (Cameron) Reed-Genovese, 97, of Middlefield, wife of the late Willard "Bill" Reed, Sr. and Michael Genovese, died Friday May 19, 2023 at Middlesex Hospital. She was born in South Hero, VT, the daughter of the late Hebert and Edith (Poquette) Cameron, Sr.

She is survived by her daughter, Bernadette and her husband Steve; sons, Alan Reed and Robert Reed and his wife Diane; grandchildren, Lauren Milardo and her husband Brenton, Matt Paranzino; great grandchildren, Jack and Bennett Milardo; also, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Willard Reed, Jr.; sisters, Mary Poquette, Laura Weise, Betty McCarter, and Pauline Thompson; brother, Herbert Cameron, Jr.

She was greatly loved by all who knew her, by both the Reed and Genovese families; and former friends and loved ones too numerous to mention. She will be greatly missed!! God bless her and keep her.

Funeral services will be held Thursday (May 25th) at 11 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown.  Burial will be in Mica Hill Cemetery, Durham.
